Product & Engineering
Product & Engineering Builder
New Grad / Full-timeİstanbul
Behind Unicourse's simple student promise is a complex operating system with tons of workflows, and product experiences.
We are looking for a Product & Engineering Builder who can improve how Unicourse operates and how students experience the product.
This is a hybrid role for practical builders: people who like solving messy problems, building useful systems, using data, and shipping improvements that make the team faster.
What you'll do
- Build product and engineering improvements across student-facing and internal systems.
- Work on course discovery, package pages, checkout, revision planning, recommendations, or learning workflows.
- Build internal tools that reduce manual work for Growth, Education Ops, and founders.
- Prototype AI workflows.
- Use data to understand product behavior, funnel issues, course demand, and operational bottlenecks.
- Translate messy workflows into clear requirements, dashboards, automations, or tools.
- Ship small improvements quickly and iterate based on feedback.
- Work across Product, Engineering, Growth, and Education Ops.
- Document what you build so the team can use and maintain it.
What we look for
- Strong problem-solving ability.
- Technical ability in one or more areas: web, backend, mobile, data, automation, AI tools, scripting, analytics, or product prototyping.
- Ability to think from both user and system perspectives.
- Bias toward shipping useful things quickly.
- Clear communication.
- Comfort with ambiguity and cross-functional work.
- Care for reliability, maintainability, and simplicity.
- Interest in education, productivity, learning systems, AI, or startup operations.
- Proof of work: GitHub, app, website, script, dashboard, product case, automation, school project, startup project, or anything you built.
What makes someone excellent here
- You solve the actual bottleneck, not the most impressive-looking problem.
- You can ship a simple version before designing the perfect system.
- You understand that internal tools are products too.
- You reduce repeated manual work.
- You ask sharp questions before building.
- You make other people faster.
- You document enough so your work survives after you move on.
What we offer
- Competitive salary.
- Real product and systems ownership.
- Direct feedback from founders and the core team.
- A chance to build tools used inside a growing education company.
- Exposure to product, growth, operations, AI, analytics, and education workflows.
- A culture that values practical builders, clear thinking, and high-leverage work.
Hiring process
- 01Application.
- 02Builder task.
- 03Technical and product interview.
- 04Final conversation about scope, compensation, and start date.
